Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its “Top 100 Places to Work.”Overview: Mercy Convenient Care - 10th Avenue - Ardmore,Oklahoma is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to join our convenient care team on a PRN basis.  At Mercy Convenient Care, we provide accessible care for non-emergent health conditions. Our convenient set-up allows patients to walk in without an appointment, getting the medical attention they need when they need it. Our services come at a lower cost and with a shorter waiting time than the local emergency room. We treat adults and children of all ages for issues like: simple cuts, puncture wounds and abscesses or cold/flu symptoms, ear pain, fever, strep, and mono or rashes, minor burns and insect bites.Qualifications:Experience: A minimum of (1) full year of experience in a convenient/urgent care or emergency department setting required.Education: Successful completion of an accredited Master's Degree Family Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant ProgramLicensure: Licensed by the State of Oklahoma Board of Nursing and recognized as a Nurse Practitioner OR by the State of Oklahoma Medical Board as a Physician AssistantCertification/Registration: Have or obtain national certification as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Those not having national certification at time of employment must obtain their certification within one (1) year.Other: This position requires the provider to work without an on-site physician.
