Overview:

 

Mercy Clinic is currently seeking an audiologist to join our teams in Oklahoma City!

 

Our audiology and hearing clinic works side-by-side with ear, nose and throat physicians in Oklahoma City and Edmond to provide exceptional care that addresses complex hearing and balance disorders. We specialize your patient care based on their specific needs. Our audiologists have a doctoral degree and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Audiology Services

As a highly trusted clinical audiology group, we offer many audiology specializations including pediatric hearing screenings, adult and pediatric hearing aids, hearing prevention and conservation, single-side hearing deafness as well as ototoxicity monitoring for chemotherapy patients. Our audiologists work closely with otolaryngologists (ear, nose and throat physicians) to address complex hearing and balance disorders.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Audiology from an accredited university.
  • Licensure: State Licensure (or eligible for State Licensure), including license to dispense hearing aids in the State of Oklahoma
  • Preferred Certifications: Certification of Clinical Competency in Audiology – American Speech, Language & Hearing Association.
  • Other: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of equipment utilized in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of communicative disorders. Ability to determine appropriate patient treatment programs based on interpretation of test results. Professional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to perform mathematical functions. Ability to maintain control and respond calmly and positively during crisis situations Excellent vision, speech and hearing acuity. (aided or unaided) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
