Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for the position of Nursing Supervisor (RN) on 11P-7A or possible 7P-7A shifts. The purpose of this position is to supervise the provision of nursing care to residents. Job duties include: Coordinate the provision of nursing care to residents; visits each nursing unit to obtain report of resident’s conditions; examines residents having symptoms of illness; identifies problems and assesses conditions; notifies physician or CRNP of problems or conditions ; assists with follow through of physician or CRNP orders; notifies family of changes and subsequent treatment, schedules and assigns staff to units, assists Charge Nurse with admission of new residents; and assists Charge Nurse and staff with problems regarding patient care. Qualified Applicants must possess:

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

Two (2) to Five (5) years nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred

Must possess and maintain a current valid registration with Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners

Physical ability to do heavy lifting.

only offered for candidates applying for full-time and hired on or after September 1, 2022

. Bonus to be disbursed in four payments over the course of 1-year period (after 45 calendar days, 6 months, 9months, and 1 year mark from first date of employment). Installment amounts detailed in guidelines. Employee’s continued eligibility dependent on attendance and punctuality, as defined in guidelines. Those offered a position within the last month prior to the launch of the sign-on bonus program are not eligible. Casual, temp or part-time nurses or nurse aides are not eligible.

Former employees only eligible if this is the second incidence of rehire and have not left in the three months prior to start of program.
