Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a senior associate to join its preeminent Telemedicine and Digital Health Industry Team. Our firm represents hospitals and health systems, technology-enabled healthcare service companies, venture-backed digital health entrepreneurs, life sciences companies, and investors across the United States. The preferred location for the position is in Tampa, Florida, but candidates will be considered in any of the following offices: Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Madison, Miami, Milwaukee, New York, Orlando, San Diego, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Tallahassee, and Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 10 years of health care regulatory and/or transactional experience and will have general knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments and their affect and interplay in health care transactions. Although general health care and compliance will be involved, we are seeking a candidate with particular enthusiasm in working on issues of health innovation, telemedicine, and digital health that will transform the landscape of how health care is delivered, now and in the future. Prior experience working with telemedicine or digital health companies is preferred but not required. Of paramount importance is the desire to deliver world-class legal services for clients. Candidates should be solution oriented and adaptable to working on a range of dynamic issues with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50 enterprises. Past experience leading a team or supervising and mentoring associates is preferred, but not required. We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, highly motivated associate, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice in a team-based, collegial environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Health Care Practice Group. AmLaw 100 experience preferred but not required. Excellent academic credentials, writing and communication skills, including the ability to converse with firm clients on a regular basis, are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the state bar in which the candidate is admitted to practice.
