The Technology Solutions Principal works across technology and business (both strategy and operations) teams to build an effective strategy for executing and delivering on combined initiatives. The Technology Solutions Principal provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced clinical technology experience.
Responsibilities
The Technology Solutions Principal acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders across strategy and operations to improve collaboration and identify opportunities for technology to enhance operations and achieve business goals.
Works with senior executives to develop and drive segment or enterprise-wide functional strategies. Advises one or more areas, programs, or functions and provides recommendations to Senior Executives on matters of significance, and as an advanced subject matter expert, competent to work at very high levels in multiple knowledge and functional areas across the enterprise.
For Clinical Technology, this role will focus on two things. First, this role will be charged with working across multiple teams in technology and business to optimize cross-team processes and ways of working. Second, this role will also be a subject matter expert to guide large scale strategic efforts and ensure the business value of the effort is maximized.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, health care, or technology
Strong Leadership Experience: 8 years leading people/projects
Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical technology
Passion for Technology & Ability to Communicate It: Deep interest in leveraging technology to make a difference and ability to take complex topics and communicate them in ways that are easy to digest, translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Partnership Mindset & Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proven history of joining with business partners and other enterprise leaders to lead innovation and drive value; can-do spirit, ingenuity and flexibility to contribute in any ways needed to overall segment success.
Strategic Thought & Measurement: Experience developing and guiding a technical strategy with accompanying metrics, forecasts, and goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in business, health care, or technology preferred
5 years of experience in driving health care technology projects
Preferred location
Remote / Work At Home with periodic (< once per month) travel to Louisville, KY or Washington D.C. area (Rosslyn, VA) offices.
