Silverado is presently seeking Personal Attendants/Caregivers to join our At Home team. Silverado At Home serves clients spread across San Diego County.
Silverado is currently hiring for all shifts (all times and days, and both live-in and hourly shifts).
As a Personal Attendant/Caregiver, you will actively engage clients in a meaningful way to add value to their lives.
Provides one-on-one assistance to clients.
Assistance may include homemaking routines, transportation to appointments and/or other outings, activities of daily living, following routines natural to the client, exercise, cooking, and other functions.
Personal Attendants will always focus on engaging clients in a meaningful and life-affirming manner.

Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certificate highly desired.
Experience: One or more years experience working in home care or in long-term care setting is desirable. Knowledge and experience working with clients with memory care needs or Alzheimer’s disease (and/or related dementia) required.
Other: Must have valid driver license, good driving record, and current auto insurance. Must have own transportation. Excellent organizational skills required, and ability to exhibit empathetic communication style to residents, families, and co-workers highly desirable. Ability to read, write and speak English. Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disease.
