Seeking an Area Practice Manager for Urgent Care to cover the North East DFW area. Some of the functions include overseeing 3- 5 locations with the daily operations, general management, demonstrating excellence in customer service, and leading by example. We are looking for someone to ensure the clinic is safe, efficient and achieves clinic goals. Leads by example.

This position requires an active clinical license as a Medical Assistant, NCT, LRMT, ARRT, Paramedic (EMT-P), LVN, or RN.

Directs and manages projects for each practice such as:


Monitors patient flow through the facility to ensure appropriate utilization of physician time and staff coverage.
Monitors or reviews patient registration and data entry into the system for timeliness, accuracy, and thoroughness.
Ensures that clinic leadership creates a work schedule for all clinic positions including APPs based on clinic needs. Ensures adequate staffing at all times. Varies staffing levels as indicated by patient volume and efficiency standards.
Reviews and handles patient complaints.
Reviews charges, visit encounters, and cash receipts for variations and patterns. Conducts spot audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Reviews lab and x-ray service utilization, physician charges and coding accuracy, and capture of charges.
Conducts patient and staff surveys and questionnaires.
Follows OSHA regulations and all company policies pertaining to a safe and secure environment for patients and staff. Ensures required emergency drills are conducted.
Identifies practice/business development opportunities to increase the practice(s)' market share.
Prepares for and successfully completes clinic audits, reviews and surveys. Ensures clinic leadership and staff compliance and active support.
Develops, implements and monitors annual practice(s) budget(s) by:


Analyzes financial impact of changes in clinical activities and forecasts actual revenue/expenditures versus approved budget.
Develops cost/benefit analyses of new patient care services and equipment to maximize patient revenues.
Insures that the practice staff follows all receivable/collection guidelines.
Monitors purchases for each practice. Plans a corrective strategy when order levels are excessive in volume or cost and communicates the strategy with the Division/Market Practice Manager.
Ensures that the most cost effective measures are taken to achieve clinic goals when applicable.


 ','!*!EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:


High School Graduate/Equivalent is required.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration preferred. Appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Active RN, LPN, EMT-P, MA, LMRT, NCT, or RT clinical license is required.
 
EXPERIENCE:


Three year’s work and supervisory experience in practice management of multiple locations.

Proven track record of managing practice revenue.

Effective working knowledge of healthcare financial management, specifically medical practice accounting, third party reimbursement issues, patient flow and facilities management.

Availability to manage assigned clinics 24/7. Flexibility to fill in open shifts and float to other work locations D

Demonstrated excellence in Customer Service and Patient Satisfaction.

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills

Possesses and demonstrates a strong clinical background.
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:


Travel may be required to visit the clinics as needed.
