The home health scheduler (Office Assistant) duties:
responsible for day-to-day staffing of cases, problem solving, ensuring customer satisfaction
answering calls & conveying messages proficiently
Scheduling and data entry experience is required
Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and clients
Ability to coordinate many activities at once
Follows all privacy policies and maintains the confidentiality of protected healthcare information
Implements plan of care initiated by the registered nurse
Provides accurate and timely documentation consistent with the CarePlans
Ensures that Caregivers are following CarePlans and submitting each visit
Will be responsible for managing the schedules of the following visits in accordance with payer and Centers for Medicare, Medicaid Services (CMS) & Passport guidelines
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
No previous criminal history
Must have Ohio State ID
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Microsoft Word/Excel Proficient
Excellent communication and listening skills
Compassionate, patient and caring nature
Able to work in a stressful environment
Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of scheduling.
