Dementia care & support worker job in London Your new company You'd be working for a private organisation that is known for offering excellent care, support and information to service users and their families. Your new role As a dementia support worker you'll be expected to work a 7-day rota, where you'd effectively communicate with elderly people, whilst helping promote their wellbeing and independence thus improving the quality of their lives.
You'll have to be patient and attentive to identify their needs, ensuring that their care is effective and appropriate in relation to the support they desire.
What you'll need to succeed
*A minimum of 2 years' experience in the social care sector. *Mental health experience desired but not essential. *Excellent communication skills. *Ability to manage multiple tasks. *Must be registered with the HCPC.
