Channel Manager - Healthcare Vertical

The Healthcare Channel Managers (CM) extends and enables the healthcare teams' focus on customers who are assigned to direct sales teams outside the VES healthcare vertical accounts. The CM is responsible for working with the Verizon Enterprise Solutions healthcare leadership team and Verizon's healthcare clients to grow revenues across all VZ business units.
The CM participates in new offer development, serves as a liaison between VES healthcare vertical leadership and geographic teams who support healthcare accounts in Verizon Wireless, VES geographic sales teams, VZT (as applicable), etc.
Performance will be measured on Healthcare revenue growth in the CM's assigned geographic and/or channel assigned.
Responsibility:
o CM will have to scale VZ healthcare offerings to clients ranging from small business to fortune 500 customers, and diverse across the healthcare ecosystem (payers, providers, pharma, life sciences, etc.).
o CM responsibilities include client meetings, training development and delivery, offer development and execution, trade show and industry speaking engagements, etc. The CM will serve as a thought leader and will coordinate matrix management engagements for teams that span sales, marketing, product, finance, client engagement, solution architecture, professional services, sales operations, etc.
o Drive Healthcare revenue growth in assigned geographic areas
o Client engagement (EBCs, proposal development, private meetings)
o Train geographic/channel sales team on offer alignment, focused on near term success
o Evangelize Verizon Healthcare Value Proposition with local media, customer events, trade shows, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
o Healthcare industry knowledge across all sub-verticals; IT, mobility and cloud industry acumen; Matrix management dexterity;
o Outstanding business judgment consistent with a P&L owner.
o Ability to operate and drive results independently
o Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills
o Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
o Experience which demonstrates a strong level of expertise required to sell Verizon product line
o An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
o Ability to communicate with senior managers about their business plans, approach and challenges
o Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in over continuous quarters and years
o 2 years selling Verizon or competitive complex data products including cloud, security, M2M, mobility, etc.
o Ability to travel to assigned partner and customer locations
o Degree preferred
