Under the general direction of the PROGRAM TEAM MANAGER, CARDIOLOGY AND CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the REGISTERED NURSE - CARDIOLOGY HEMODYNAMIC LAB is responsible for providing continuous, comprehensive, coordinated, and patient centered nursing care to all patients, to include: preparing and employing sterile techniques; establishing I.V. routes and administering, both I.V. infusion, I.M. injections and contrast media under the attending physician; monitoring the progress of the patient; assisting in any emergency situations that might arise; initiating life support measures; providing any required technical assistance/support for various catherization procedures; and performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
CRNM registration required
Post graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent experience required
NOTE: ANNUAL BLS LEVEL C REGISTRATION/RE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
