CCBHC RN Intake and Ambulatory Detox Full time, days. No weekends or overnights

Cumberland, Pascoag & Woonsocket, RI
Community Care Alliance is seeking a Registered Nurse to be a part of our Intake team and new ambulatory detox program in the Northern RI area. The goal of this program is to provide comprehensive nursing assessments/medical screenings to people who are requesting behavioral health services. Additionally, the nurse will be responsible for working with individuals who are admitted to our ambulatory detox program under the direction of a physician.
Full time, days. No weekends or overnights
Responsibilities and duties of the registered nurse include but are not limited to:
*Provide comprehensive nursing assessments
*Assist with Level 1 and level 2 withdrawal management/assess for need for inpatient detox
*Monitoring medication administer injections and manage medications supplies
*Provide mental health and substance use education to clients
* HIV screenings
*Care Coordination with community providers and CCA prescribers/staff
*Complete all required documentation, including assessments, recovery plans, and reports
* Attendance at required meetings
* Other duties as assigned, including back up coverage for other programs if needed
Education Requirements:
RN or BSN with Behavioral Health experience, ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to make quick decisions and dispositions re the needs of individuals seeking behavioral health
services.
