Description
The Dr. Call Phones Pharmacy Technician works from home in a call center capacity and provides resolution for prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing the fulfillment of the request.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Take Inbound Calls:
Take inbound calls from physician's offices, pharmacies and from members
Calls can be for new prescriptions, clarifications or general questions about prescription processing
Make Outbound Calls:
To physician offices to follow up on needed clarifications and new prescription requests
To pharmacies requesting transfers
Required Qualifications
Must have an active Pharmacy Technician or Tech in Training license in Arizona, Texas or Florida
National Pharmacy Technician Certification CPhT - PTCB or ExCPT
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician in Training OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting
Excellent communication skills
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Home Office : a dedicated secure home workspace, and high-speed internet (minimum connection speed of 10m x 1m)
​Preferred Qualifications
Mail Order Pharmacy or Retail Pharmacy experience
Experience working with insurance plans and Medicare
