As a Mobile Care Nurse in the Care Medical Registered Nurse Team, you will deliver in person urgent/episodic as well as scheduled preventative care, and chronic disease management when care needs extend beyond Amazon Care's virtual services. You will prepare for and travel to visits within a defined service area, seeing patients in residential and approved in person settings, while supported by a virtual team of clinicians and operations specialists. As part of the RN Team, you will also train and deliver care through our virtual platform (chat, video, and telephone), which enables work from home flexibility and the opportunity to develop and deepen skills with one of the most innovative telehealth leaders.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for direct nursing care and support of patients within established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and Care Medical policies and procedures. As a Mobile RN, you will:
Make field visits to non-clinical settings including patient homes and workplaces to provide care and implement treatment plans.
Successfully complete training series which covers both In Person and Virtual modalities.
Provide safe and quality patient care in person and virtually.
Triage, coordinate care, offer symptom support and guidance, conduct health assessments, POC testing, and lab services, and deliver health education to meet the needs of the patient virtually or in an in-home setting.
Deliver patient care in high priority content areas such as travel health, preventive care, or care targeting a range of common chronic conditions through modalities involving chat, video, email,
Demonstrate the ability to observe, record, and report needs, concerns and coordinate the needs of patients and maintain constructive relationships with them, and with all care providers.
Educate, instruct and supervise the patient and/or other responsible person in meeting nursing and related patient care needs.
Use technology as a platform for patient care, computer, cloud storage systems, and connected clinical devices. Adapt as needed to change processes and practice in an evolving, ambiguous environment.

Basic Qualifications:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state of residence and the state of Washington.
Ability to provide verification of COVID 19 vaccination by date of hire.

Possess BLS certification by date of hire.
2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including 1 year experience working with pediatric patients.
Proficient in phlebotomy.
Ability to obtain licensure in multiple states as required by business need (multiple licensure fees, application process and ongoing maintenance supported by Care Medical)
Current and valid driver's license, proof of insurance and driving record in good standing.
Reliable mode of transportation for all scheduled shifts and observance all traffic laws and safety standards.
Able to regularly store and transport 3 - 6 cubic feet of medical supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. in vehicle and at home.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency care, and/or ambulatory care.
Experience delivering patient care that flexes between virtual (chat, video, telephonic) and in-person care.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
Proficient with various technology and typing speeds of 40 WPM
