As a Treatment and Case Management Supervisor your responsibilities include supervision for the Substance Abuse Counselors and Case Managers on team, act as a liaison with key collaborating agencies and with leadership inside the organization, ongoing training, staff development, and evaluation for substance abuse counselor, case managers, intervention specialist ,etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Includes but are not limited to:
Lead, train and support case management team(s) via weekly group supervision, and individual supervision when needed, to facilitate the following: adherence to evidence based principles and contractually required procedure, and competent implementation of interventions with program participants.
Facilitate the creation of a supportive, collaborative service delivery team in which case managers and substance abuse counselors learn together and share responsibilities such coverage and learning about community resources
Develop engagement and ongoing collaborative relationships with stakeholders, both external in the community and within the provider agency
Manage referrals to the program and manage caseloads
Plan and problem solve with Program Director and execute ongoing program quality improvement activities, to achieve the best possible outcomes program participants
Collaborate actively with agency leadership to foster own supervisory growth and development
Manage and report data on program outcomes and program practices
Deliver program services to a caseload of 10-15 participants and facilitate at a minimum one intervention to address program and community needs
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three years in the fields of substance abuse and/or mental health including experience with adolescent or criminal justice populations.
A California State recognized SAC Certification.
Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
Supervisory and leadership experience
Preferred Experience:
Significant clinical experience in treating serious antisocial behavior in youth.
Implementation of evidence based
Experience with hiring, performance evaluation, and holding supervisees accountable for performance
Training and collaboration with outside agencies
Individual the one on one counseling sessions adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
Provision of group and individual clinical supervision
Certified MRT facilitator
Preferred Knowledge
Proficient in Motivational Interviewing techniques
Evidence Based Case Management practices
Cognitive-behavioral therapy theory and application.
