Description
The Senior Value-Based Programs Analyst supports successful value-based provider relationships in the Service Fund Department with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals through analysis and reconciliation of provider payments and settlements.
Responsibilities
The Senior Value-Based Programs Analyst supports our Market and Provider partners in the California and Nevada area through ensuring Provider payments and settlement are complete, accurate, and timely. Payments and settlements may be performed on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and be reviewed with the Market partners to ensure understanding and accuracy.
Focuses on value based strategies related to the administration of value based contracts
Supports the markets in all value based contract administration strategies and supports implementation of those strategies through regular engagement and analytical support
Calculates the settlements based upon contractual stipulations and reconciliation of payments, driving results across the enterprise to support existing trend bender deliverables and identifying broader synergies
Uses excel and SQL to calculate payments

Required Qualifications
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business
3 years of experience with health care and/or health care payment policies
Financial and business acumen with proven ability to put context around data
Microsoft Office Suite expertise, particularly in MS Excel (Pivot tables, Macros, Vlookups, etc.)
Proactive with leadership abilities
Comfortable presenting in front of leadership
Must be adaptable, able to manage and prioritize diverse and complex projects
Self-starter, highly motivated and confident in their ability to drive program results independently
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree

Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
