Responsible for supervising the Rehabilitation team and participates as a member of clinical management team.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSu003c/strongu003eu003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday language and contact with the internal and external stakeholdersu003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Directs and oversees clinical and administrative functioning of Rehabilitation Services department, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory and contractual requirements. u003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Manages department budget u003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Maintains the activity schedule and works with other departments to integrate Rehabilitation Services in the facility scheduleu003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Promotes and maintains effective relationships and communications within the department and other departmentsu003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Participates in company quality initiativesu003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Must assist with restraint of members served in the event of assaultive behavior and pass assault crisis/crisis prevention trainingu003cbr /u003eDuties and responsibilities may be added, deleted and/or changed at the discretion of management.u003cbr /u003eu003cbr /u003eu003cstrongu003eQUALIFICATIONSu003c/strongu003eu003cbr /u003eRequired: u003cbr /u003eu0026bull; B.S./B.A. degree in Occupational Therapy, Recreational Therapy, Drama Therapy, Music Therapy, Dance Therapy, Art Therapy, or Vocational Counseling or related fieldu003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Registered or eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, Art Therapist, Dance Therapist or Rec Therapist from the state of operation u003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Two (2) years of experience working in the rehabilitation field within behavioral healthu003cbr /u003eu0026bull; One (1) year of supervisory experience u003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Must be at least 18 years of ageu003cbr /u003eu0026bull; Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment u003cbr /u003eu0026bull; All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
