The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
This role will focus on value based strategies related to the administration of value based contracts. The role will support the markets in all value based contract administration strategies and support implementation of those strategies through regular engagement and analytical support. The role will be responsible for calculating the settlements based upon contractual stipulations and reconciliation of payments, driving results across the enterprise to support existing trend bender deliverables and identifying broader synergies. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, highly motivated and confident in their ability to drive program results independently.
Required Qualifications
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business
3 years of experience with health care and/or health care payment policies
Financial and business acumen; proven ability to put context around data
Must be adaptable, able to manage and prioritize diverse and complex projects
Microsoft Office Suite expertise, particularly in MS Excel
Proactive with leadership abilities
Comfortable presenting in front of leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree

This position is considered remote/work at home and can be located anywhere in the United States.
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
