Your day.
As a Registered Nurse you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:
Provide a full range of hospice and palliative nursing care to the patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, extended care facilities, hospital, etc.
Be able to work without supervision on a daily basis, manage their own schedule, and provide the best end-of-life care.
Work in an interdisciplinary care setting to teach, assist, and support patient/family with the dying process.
Identify patient and family needs and provide nursing and supportive care in accordance with the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care and Hospice policy and procedure.
Provide palliative support to patients and families including but not limited to: pain/symptom, consultation, assistance with creating a life plan, referrals to community resources, and provide education on disease progression.
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
ASN from an accredited program
BSN from an accredited program preferred
Current Montana RN license
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
Must possess a valid MT driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance
One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting preferred
