Description
The Provider Services Market Rollout Senior Professional provides support to the implementation of Humana's provider support model in new and existing Medicaid markets. This position partners cross-functionally on matters of significance to implement the processes and tools to best serve Medicaid providers and drive optimal provider experience, as well as project manage the market rollout end-to-end. The senior professional requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.
Responsibilities
Key Role Objectives
Oversee efficient and effective rollout of provider services models and strategies in new and existing Medicaid markets
Create and manage project plans to ensure effective and timely market rollouts.
Prioritize work and escalate risks or barriers as needed.
Manage implementation documentation, tracking, and timelines for provider services project plan for Medicaid market-specific action items, outliers, decisions, and deliverables.
Tailor standard models and strategies to meet regulatory, contractual and/or local nuances of each Medicaid market
Facilitates workgroup calls/meetings/discussions for provider services action plan development
Cultivate strong working relationships with matrixed organization partners, including Market leadership and Humana operational/shared services areas, to drive provider services-related deliverables.
Contribute to Humana provider services strategy to drive optimal provider experience and performance in alignment with organizational goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3 years of experience in a provider facing role with a health plan, such as provider relations or value-based payment performance
3 years of project management experience
Ability to identify, prioritize, and solve complex business problems
Strong attention to detail
Experience operating in matrixed environment
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills with proven experience writing and delivering presentations to members of the management team and internal business partners
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business, Public Health or related field
Experience setting up Medicaid in new Medicaid markets
Medicaid Experience
PMP Certification

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
