Description

The Dietitian 2 designs meal plans that alter and regulate patients' nutrition based upon medical condition and individual nutritional needs. The Dietitian 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Dietitian 2 utilizes scientific principles and methods in the study of nutrition and dietetics, applying these results to influence the wider environment affecting food intake and eating behavior. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or similar health related field

3 - 5 years' experience in dietetics or health coaching

Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the commission on Dietetic Registration

Licensed in state of residence and possess knowledge of the legal responsibilities including all state and federal laws and regulations governing nutrition practice

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Dietetics or related field

Certified Diabetic Educator

Experience in the health insurance

Location: Remote office - work at home nationwide.
