The Housekeeper II is responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians and hospital staff. Provides support and services to all staff and performs all duties. This position works under indirect supervision requiring the incumbent to be a self-starter, and independent. Work situations are routine and repetitive, requiring organization and attention to detail. Internal contacts, which are general in nature, include staff throughout the medical center. External contacts are not required but interaction may occur with patients and visitors. Minimum Requirements:

Previous Housekeeper experience preferred

Knowledge of specific equipment and tools necessary to carry out housekeeping duties

Ability to read, write and speak the English language required Education/Licenses/Certifications:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
