The Associate Director, Technology Solutions devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives. The Associate Director, Technology Solutions requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).

Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Technology Solutions acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

The Medicaid Encounter Associate Director will work across multiple partner teams to enable their team to drive products from design completion to production release and monitoring. This role is accountable for the management of the Medicaid Encounter and Automation teams which includes oversight of the interfaces into and out of our Encounter platform. This role will set the Encounter IT strategy for new Medicaid state implementations and existing business including upgrade and rule recommendations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or 6 or more years of technical experience and/or vendor management experience

3 or more years of management experience

Experience in Encounter Data Creation and Submissions

Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure

Experience with EDI interfaces

Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

Possess 10 years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of the enterprise

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree

3-5 years of Health insurance experience or Medicaid experience

Demonstrated ability running large-scale projects

Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight

Work-At-Home Requirements

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/ HIPAA information.

Interview Format :
