This candidate will be a critical member of the TYK2i commercial team with specific responsibilities for leading all of the commercial strategy for the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (UC and CD) indications--where we have three Ph2 trials and is a high priority for the Brand’s future success. This role will be responsible for setting the WW vision and strategy for our entry into the Gastroenterology space and works closely with R&D, worldwide ozanimod commercial team, worldwide medical and access teams. This leader will also be responsible for shaping the LCM program in Gastroenterology and, in doing so, will need to work with the early Development Commercial and Immunology Strategy teams to gain alignment and support the specialty level long-term strategy.
Position Requirements:
The successful candidate needs to have multiple experiences of leading and being the champion of commercial work across multiple disease areas. This candidate should have demonstrated ability to implement and understand market analysis and assessments to drive strategic decisions. In addition, the candidate should have proven experience in the GI/IBD space either in the US or Worldwide role. Last, it would be helpful that this individual has had launch experience either in Worldwide or in the market.
This individual will work closely with the broader TYK2 Integrated leadership team, the IBD Development team, and others to ensure that the integrated learnings are rapidly applied and appropriate market development opportunities are being identified. The ability to identify commercial gaps and engage necessary stakeholders to assess strategic value, will be critical for the successful candidate to demonstrate.
Candidate should have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships by leading and participating in multi-functional teams and excelling in a matrix environment. Competencies include global Perspective, Strategic Planning, Pricing and Reimbursement, Influencing and Negotiating Skills, Brand Therapeutic Area Knowledge, Marketing Analytics, Market, Customer and Competitive insights, Brand and Positioning Management, and Seasoned Judgment. 10 years of Marketing Experience. Experience in dermatology, gastroenterology or rheumatology is a plus.
