Description
The Senior Wellness Program Professional responsible for educating and motivating clients/employers to participate in the wellness program. The Senior Wellness Program Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
This associates primary responsibilities include:
This role will interact with peers, client and consultants along with members of the client
Provides support and education regarding Humana's wellness programs.
Promote and attend health screenings as an on-site leader of 'Wellbeing Champs' and wellbeing/health improvement initiatives in coordination with Humana's Consumer Experience Professional; responsible for promoting engagement on all campuses, ensuring follow through and implementation of initiatives, and tracking feedback and outcomes of wellbeing strategies.
Provides general health and preventive screening education and resources.
Assists members with coordination of care issues both inpatient and outpatient.
Assisting members to identify and utilize appropriate Humana clinical programs, coordinates with the Client Executive. Promotion and education of all Humana programs available for members.
Utilizes account specific data to recommend 'wellness' classes / initiatives.
Tracks and trends members with high utilization working with CE and RMD on alternative benefits / ways to increase participation within the programs. (Document all concerns/complaints on eligibility, claims, provider, and miscellaneous issues, and provide a quarterly report to the Client. Meet with the benefits manager bi-weekly to provide status update. If the meeting is cancelled, the weekly log should still be submitted.)
Collaborates with RMD, corporate teams to deep dive on trend and clinical strategies.
Strong interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills for group settings as well as one on one meetings.
Lead and attend meetings as required to assist with open enrollment, health fairs, benefit briefings, etc.
Assists members with plan coverage, provider issues, eligibility and claim issues and provides monthly reporting to the Client to summarize issues
Meets with the Benefits manager on a regular basis to provide status updates
This associate will make decisions in regards to wellness initiatives, based on group data
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
5 or more years of technical experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
RN License for State of Florida
Will require daily travel into the campus of Hillsborough Community College to work onsite - this is not a Work at Home or Virtual role.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN degree
Clinical Audit experience
Humana Systems knowledge
