Position Summary

This individual is responsible for the coordination of the overall operations of the assigned Imaging Services to include the provision of resources and an environment that facilitates optimal, cost efficient patient care delivery. This position defines and monitors the standards of patient care and Imaging Services practice, ensures availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources, supports collaboration between Imaging Services, nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. This position requires organization and interpretation of information relating to a wide variety of policies, procedures, and programs.

Minimum Requirements

-Three (3) years progressively more responsible supervisory or management experience

Education/Licenses/Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree and three years relevant experience required. An Associate’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree required, provided the individual commits to pursuing and completing the degree within a specified time frame.

Master’s degree preferred

Satisfactory completion of formal imaging technology training in an AMA approved school

Registry or registry eligible for ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB and current Washington State Certification if applicable
