Responsibilities

The Radiology Technician 2

operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician. Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required. Maintains, stores and orders supplies and equipment. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. Must have Certification as an X-Ray Technician.

Required Qualifications

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and, as individual states require, accreditation through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)

Certification as an X-Ray Technician with 1 years' experience in a diagnostic facility or hospital as an X-Ray Technician

Depending on location, a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program on the pre-approved institution list may be required within one year of employment

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program

If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills

Must be willing to cover and travel to multiple locations within the Tampa Bay Market

Preferred Qualifications

English and Spanish Bilingual

High School Diploma or GED

Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment

Experience with MS Outlook

Basic Computer knowledge

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Additional Information

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
