Description

The Supervisor, Consultative Pharmacy Technicians certified Pharmacy Technician who acts as an intake for all calls from patients, pharmacies and providers. The Supervisor, Consultative Pharmacy Technicians works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures; uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems; collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach.

Responsibilities

Schedule : 8:00AM to 4:30PM CST

The Supervisor, Consultative Pharmacy Technicians addresses questions related to specific assigned area and assists with medication research. Supervise associate who triages calls that require consultation with a pharmacist. Supervise associates who make inbound calls to patients to offer medication therapy management programs and schedules medication review sessions with consultative pharmacists. Decisions are typically are related to schedule, plans and daily operations. Performs escalated or more complex work of a similar nature, and supervises a group of typically support and technical associates; coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to associates. Ensures consistency in execution across team. Holds team members accountable for following established policies.

Required Qualifications

*Experience in a team leadership or supervisory position.

*Excellent time management skills.

*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

*Able to give direction and make sound business decisions.

*History of strong work ethic, attendance

Pharmacy Technician license if state requires one.

Preferred Qualifications

*Bachelor's Degree

*Certified Pharmacy Technician

*Previous supervisory experience in a mail order setting.
