Come join our Worldwide Lymphoma/Multiple Myeloma Value, Access and Pricing team! In this role, you will be the key strategic market access lead across the lymphoma franchise as we execute on the launch of R2 in indolent lymphoma and continue to develop assets across lymphoma histologies. In addition, you will lead project-management responsibilities across Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma WW VAP. This role provides exposure to all aspects of the WW VAP function, while supporting a key area of future growth for Bristol Myers Squibb.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead WW VAP strategy within cross-functional teams (e.g. Worldwide Brand Team) for inline assets and partner in the development of the Lymphoma Value Strategy team
Develop and update product value proposition, including the development of key resources driving the access and pricing strategy (Value messages, payor value story, pricing strategy) for lymphoma products as needed
Lead WW VAP strategy for appropriate products in the late pipeline to ensure optimal clinical development, input on price forecasts, and proactively identify ways to optimize market access/pricing
Support the MM/Lymphoma WW VAP lead in the development and execution of projects to inform portfolio-wide lymphoma strategy including update of the WW VAP recommendations within the Lymphoma Disease Opportunity Profiles
Partner across the MM/Lymphoma WW VAP team to support projects including landscape analyses, and tracking of competitor HTA and pricing decisions
Recognize opportunities and lead initiatives for process improvements including enhanced communication, digitalization, and efficiency
Create and update project trackers and detailed milestones as necessary to support governance process and other key leadership communications/updates
Required Skills/Experience:
BA/BS degree or equivalent
At least 8 years' experience in the health care field, including significant experience in pricing, reimbursement, and market access
In-depth understanding of payers and their perspective in the key worldwide markets, as well trends in pricing & reimbursement.
Experience in a local market access role in a major market, or working with/for relevant health authorities, governmental agencies, hospital administrators and/or health care insurance companies / sick funds.
Solid scientific background or appropriate experience enabling assessment of trial design impact on payer strategies and ability to interpret and critique clinical study protocols, as well as identifying relevant clinical endpoints and conducting outcomes research in the early phases of clinical trial development.
Has an established network of contacts in the fields of pricing, reimbursement, policy etc.
In-depth knowledge of the latest pricing & reimbursement approaches in the marketplace and how they can be employed to advance product value propositions
Exceptional organization and written/verbal communication skills
Proven initiative and ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to drive execution of key initiatives, projects, and meet all deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and strong customer/stakeholder orientation (ability to see issues from the point of view of others)
Ability for strategic planning and thinking
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Strong background in project management and digital innovation highly preferred
Advanced degree in healthcare, economics, or related discipline preferred
