Our Residential Care program also provides care to those suffering from other life-threatening illnesses.Primary accountabilities:  The Bailey Boushay Assistant Director of

Nursing has 24 hour accountability for the nursing services of the long-term

residential care program at Bailey Boushay House. Both Nurses and PCTs report

directly to this role and the ADN is responsible for hiring, training,

evaluations/competency assessment and schedules. This position will work in the

long-term care setting and be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance

under the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). In addition, this

position will, with other leaders at Bailey Boushay House, cover the

Administrator on Call Schedule; this rotation is for a week at a time, 24 hrs.

','!*!Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 5 years of nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years progressive leadership. Requires a Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington. Experience with EMR and computer office basic skills. Knowledge of long-term care environment and DSHS regulatory compliance.  Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred, VMPS leader training, and certifications in an area such as EOL, AIDS or Wound care preferred.  There is also the lifestyle benefit that comes with finding yourself in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.
