Responsibilities
 
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this full-time role your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Check in patients and check out patients
Printing and previewing schedules for the next day
Check for authorizations if needed
Communicate with patients regarding insurance changes
Prepare daily deposits
Process medical record requests
Rescheduling patients if a physician is called out on a delivery or an emergency
The ability to float to other departments as needed such as back office scheduling
Recognize and respond to acute emergency situations following procedures
Needs to be flexible for step schedules and rotation if needed (to other locations)
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPPA compliant is a MUST
Maintain OSHA required logs and In-House logs
Submits prescriptions to the pharmacy as directed by provider
Makes sure patient and provider have signed all appropriate paperwork when applicable
Scan all paperwork pertaining to Mammograms, Referrals, Pap Smears into EMR
Creates requisitions for labs that are ordered by provider
Recognize and respond to acute emergency situations following procedures
Maintain patient confidentiality is a MUST
Perform other duties as assigned.
