Description
The Provider Contracting Executive works with large health systems to negotiate contract terms, contract language, payment structures and reimbursement rates. Additionally, you will negotiate contract terms for Value-Based incentive plans and site of service differentials. Analyzes financial impact of contracts and terms. Maintains contracts and documentation within a tracking system. Identifies and recruits providers based on network composition and needs. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. You will travel to providers within the region, as well as attend onsite meetings/trainings in Humana's Market Office.

Required Qualifications
4 or more years of progressive network management experience including hospital contracting and network administration in a healthcare company
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Extensive provider contracting skills, including contract negotiation, preparation, and implementation, financial analysis and rate proposal development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to varied audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with Value Based Contracting
Additional Information
This role is considered remote/work at home, however, the preferred candidate will live within the region (VA, DC, DE, MD) as you will be required to travel to provider offices within this region.
Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
