Advance in your nursing career and join the Genesis team as a Certified Medicine Aide -- CMA where you will administer medications and treatments within the standards of practice as per certification permissions and state regulations.Position HighlightsPrepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document per Genesis policies.Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.*Stay abreast of current medications and investigate any unknown medications before administration.

Qualifications:

Completion of a state-approved medicine course with a passing grade is required. Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant program is required. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience in nursing. Must attend a minimum of 16 hours continuing education programs provided by the center in order to maintain certification. To protect the health and safety of our patients, residents, employees, family members, and the communities we serve, Genesis has implemented a universal COVID-19 vaccination requirement for employees, care partners and onsite vendors.
