Responsibilities
The Dr. Call Phones Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 is responsible for researching and updating clarifications and denials on patient profiles. They are responsible for making or taking phones calls to and from providers and patients. Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. In this role, you will:
Make outbound calls to providers & retail pharmacies
Follow up on new prescription requests and transfers
You must have the ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving. You must be self-directed, but also able to work well in a group, have a positive and proactive attitude.
Role Essentials
Candidates for this position must have the following skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have an active Pharmacy Technician License in Texas, Ohio, OR Florida
1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, mail order or hospital pharmacy
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
Strong data entry skills
A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
Role Desirables
Inbound/outbound call experience in any pharmacy setting a plus
