The Center for Weight Loss and Wellness offers Medical and Surgical Weight Loss services at its flagship clinic in Tacoma, Washington near Allenmore Hospital. The Patient Care Coordinator serves as a key member of the bariatric surgery team. They are responsible for coordinating a panel of bariatric surgery patients and the logistics of their pre-surgery work-up, which typically spans a two to eight month period. They serve as the key point of contact for patients, keeping them on track and informed at every step along the way to surgery. Minimum Requirements:

One year work experience preferably in a medical office setting

Experience with medical terminology

Healthcare insurance or related experience desirable

Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills

Experience with EPIC desirable

Experience in customer service roles desirable Education/Licenses/Certifications:

High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred

Related college coursework and or training desirable
