Description

A Dr. Call Phone Pharmacist is a registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients with a Member First approach. The work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position is for a call center environment in mail-order pharmacy.

As a CenterWell pharmacist, your practice can take on many roles. We have exciting career opportunities in several areas. This position will be part of an inbound phone team handling calls from healthcare professionals and CenterWell Pharmacy patients. Responsibilities of the role include:

Taking new prescriptions from providers

Prospective DUR review

Clarifying existing prescriptions received at CenterWell Pharmacy to ensure timely dispensing of medications

Transferring prescriptions to and from CenterWell Pharmacy

Performing medication read outs to local healthcare facilities

Provide counseling and advice to CenterWell Pharmacy patients

Research patient concerns

Facilitate positive service and pharmaceutical outcomes

Required Qualifications

Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

Licensed as a PHARMACIST in the state of Arizona

Must Reside in Arizona (This is an onsite role)

Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs

Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group

Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years' experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment

Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive

Excellent communication skills

Proficient with computers

Additional Information

Starting shift available:

Arizona

: 8 hour shift, M-F 11:45AM- 8:15PM AZT (2:45PM-11:15PM EST) | Saturday rotation, Closed Sundays| some holidays per year

During peak seasons, overtime may be required as dictated by business needs

Candidates must reside and be licensed in the state of Arizona

Vaccination Info

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
