The Optometry Programme, within the School of Health Professions at the University of Plymouth, is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our group and be part of our teaching and research activities. You will work as part of the Optometry team to provide innovative teaching including; the design and preparation of teaching materials, course planning and delivery, and assessment. Experience of clinical practice as an Optometrist, and registration with the General Optical Council, are essential for the role. As part of our Eye & Vision research group you will have the opportunity to contribute to our research programme and to publications and grant funding applications if applicable. Post 1 - This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. Post 2 - This is a part-time position working 29.6 hours per week on a permanent basis. Post 3 - This is a part-time position working 29.6 hours per week, and is fixed-term to cover a period of maternity leave which is anticipated to be for approximately 12 months. Flexible working options including job share and part-time applications will be considered. These roles will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus Adult and Children Barred List checks. You must currently be registered with the following registration board: General Optical Council (GOC).
