This position will facilitate and support academic productivity of an institute or specialty at Virginia Mason.
','!*!Baccalaureate degree plus two years' experience in a research, publishing, healthcare, or higher education setting. Demonstrated excellence in editing medical writing for publication, communication, and process facilitation.
Must be an organized self-starter with attention to detail; be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and meet publication specifications and program timelines; and represent the organization to a variety of academic visitors, e.g. medical students, fellows, Visiting Scholars, etc.
The position requires expert knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, including embedding charts and video footage in PowerPoint presentations.
Familiarity with medical terminology and medical education is preferred.
