The gift and endowment accounting shared services team serves the entire UCSF enterprise, managing several thousand individual gift funds and contributing close to 10% of the overall budget of UCSF through new gift activity and endowment payouts. The Controller’s primary responsibility is to provide management and oversight of financial and gift accounting, analysis, operations, compliance, and reporting for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals Foundation.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eIn consultation with and/or approval from the Chief Financial Officer of the UCSF Foundation, the Controller will provide University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) and BCH Foundation senior financial management guidance on the applicability and implementation of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements, and establish and implement changes in BCH Foundation accounting practices and procedures, as required.
