If you are looking for a change, we have a job for you! We are looking for a registered nurse to join our acute stabilization unit team.   This position is a full time, 36-hour a week schedule, 4-day work week optional. The ASU is a hospital diversion, crisis assessment and stabilization program. The ASU provides services to stabilize and support individuals experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse crisis. The program is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team, which consists of RNs, LPNs, Psychiatry, master's level counselors, case managers, peer specialists and phone screeners. 

 Clinical duties and responsibilities for this position include providing behavioral health crisis assessments; medication assessment and administration; detoxification and medical assessment; health promotion education to clients and staff as assigned.  This position will also play a major role in triaging and accepting new admissions to the unit. Comprehensive training program available to include education in psychotropic medication, crisis intervention and substance use disorders. Excellent opportunity to develop new skills in the management of individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

Education and Licensing Requirements
