Description
The Product Manager 2 Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Product Manager 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
The Product Manager 2 Leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes.
Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of MA product, including market research, competitive analysis and product compliance requirements. Perform data and research to support decisions.
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of CMS regulations, guidelines and timelines related to benefits.
Monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Perform data analysis regularly to measure product performance.
Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
Provides support for the annual bid process, work with actuary and other teams to develop product inputs, pricing and other key assumptions, as well as to maintain plan design documentation.
Assist with the management of projects including the implementation of new products and benefits. Support strategic initiatives for Medicare business including growth, retention, member experience, Stars related initiatives and plan performance.
Review product-related content and guidance for marketing materials and regulatory materials to ensure content is accurate (i.e. ANOC, EOC, SOB, Benefit grids).
Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Works under minimal supervision.

Role Essentials
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a similar field preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish. Candidate selected will not be communicating in English with members.
3 years-experience in managed care, senior-focused health care or Humana Healthcare Services
High sense of accountability and strong problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Project management skills. - Moderate to high impact projects, experience - Healthcare Industry
Experience in data analytics
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence across the organization
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
1 Healthcare Experience, Preferably Commercial/Employer Plan Experience

Additional information
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Overtime, needed to work some weekends - upon business need.
Training: 4 to 6 weeks. Virtual or Humana facility (if Covid-19 emergency is lifted)
Work Location (Address): This permanent job is working from Home and the office in a hybrid manner. This position will deploy to the following location at : 383 Ave FD Roosevelt, San Juan, PR 00918 - El Mundo Building.
