MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATION:

Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is REQUIRED WITHIN 9 MONTHS OF HIRE.

OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

*RESUME AND LETTER OF INTENT REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION.

Familiarity (including strengths, dosage forms, and uses) with a large number of medications. *Attention to detail and accuracy *Must have basic computer skills *Basic mathematical and logistical problem-solving skills *Must be able to effectively budget time, work efficiently and accurately, and follow procedures with minimum supervision *IV Admixture technicians must complete a course of instruction in sterile product preparation and demonstrate competency

All technicians must complete an Orientation Competency
