Position Summary:

Exciting opportunity to become a member of our dynamic behavioral health Intake and Emergency Services team. As a member of this team, you will provide intake assessments at our outpatient community behavioral health center in Woonsocket. This position also includes working with Emergency Services clinicians as needed when clients present in crisis to determine appropriate level of care.

Duties would include meeting face to face with new clients seeking services and completing a biopsychosocial assessment and making in house referrals to center programs. This is a fulltime position with flexibility in workdays and hours. Four-day work week options are available. Experience in the use of DSM 5 as well as knowledge of ASAM criteria is a must.

All staff must be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless a certified medical exemption accommodation is granted. Proof of vaccination must be shown upon hire.

Education and Training Required:

LCDP candidates with experience in mental health as well as candidates with a master’s degree in human services related field are encouraged to apply.

-Employee will assume full responsibility for the cost of maintaining any and all forms of licensure, certification, and credentialing documentation as required in their job description or sited on any Action form as a qualification for hiring, job promotion, or monetary increase. Subsequently, the employee will adhere to the credentialing requirements of all insurance/funding sources for which they qualify and provide Human Resources and/or the

Credentialing Specialist with the initial required documentations (licenses, liability insurance policies, DEA numbers etc. and all renewals of these documents 

thereafter.
