The pulmonary medicine team and Bronchoscopy Clinic helps patients through all stages of lung disease.
Many patients come to us with symptoms like shortness of breath or a persistent cough. Others have been told that they have an abnormal X-ray or CT scan, or been diagnosed with a respiratory problem or lung cancer. In our clinic, we pinpoint what is causing respiratory problems and deliver treatments that give our patients the best chance to recover. Here’s what sets us apart:
We combine the personal attention of a clinic with the services of a major medical center. Our team members go out of their way to make sure patients get appointments quickly and receive test results as soon as possible – usually within 24 hours. Our patients also have access to specialized clinics throughout Virginia Mason.

Responsibilities:
The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services
Assists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization.
Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Current WA State RN license is required.
1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients.
CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications: ACLS preferred.
