Schedule: 8-4:30 M-F. Hospital rounding and out patient clinic. Work out own schedule

Call Schedule: Overnight call 1:7. Both weeknight and weekend. Depending upon the schedule

Practice Detail: Electophysiology. Cardiac Rhythm specialty caring for patients with cardiac devices (pacemaker,defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders) or brady and tachy arrhythmias while collaborating with our physician and nursing team.

EMR System: EPIC

Facility: Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Milwaukee and Ozaukee. with a possible outreach clinic.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

Ascension Wisconsin is looking for a Physician Assistant for our Electrophysiology practice.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at our Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital campuses located both in Milwaukee and Mequon, Wisconsin.

Position Highlights:

Very Flexible.

3 MDs

5 current APPs. Team approach to patients.

Responsibilities:

Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.

Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.

Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Physician Assistant credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.

Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience preferred.
