Humana is hiring a Bilingual Member Intake Coordinator to support our SeniorBridge Home Care team. SeniorBridge is Humana's wholly-owned home care business acquired in 2012. We're passionate about helping families and loved ones find solutions that make life better. Intake coordinators provide the initial contact a member has regarding Home Care services.

We are seeking someone who is bilingual: English/Spanish. This individual will contribute to the successful administration of home care benefits by providing administrative support for our telephonic nurses and members seeking home care services. This is a remote, telephonic position and the Intake Coordinator must be able to support Pacific Standard Time business hours.

Responsibilities

This position performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. The Intake Coordinator responsibilities include the following:

Monitors the Personal Home Care Services Inquiry Roster, email queue and member calls for home care benefit inquiries.

Answers phone calls in a professional, timely manner - must be bilingual

Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Intake coordinators provide the initial contact a member has regarding Home Care services

Performs member outreach to explain the benefit to the member or member's family.

Provides benefit information to members and families as needed.

Gathers and communicates all relative information and preparation instructions to members and assigned nurses.

Communicate messages to internal team in an effective, efficient manner.

Intake coordinator will complete referral process and schedule a nurse to complete the assessment.

Produces daily department meeting and weekly referral assignment report.

Work a schedule that supports Pacific Standard Time business hours

The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for working with a senior population * Use your ability to speak fluently in English and Spanish to assist senior members and their families in understanding and receiving home care benefits * Ability to work collaboratively with our Scheduling and Clinical team in a professional and efficient manner * Independent problem-solver who uses judgement and initiative to produce solid results * Ability to remain calm and helpful even when dealing with emotional or upset customers.

Required Qualifications

Administrative support experience in the healthcare industry

Experience providing telephonic customer service and support

Ability to build quick rapport over the phone and communicate effectively with a senior population

Bilingual in English/Spanish

Strong organizational and time management skills

Less than 3 years of technical experience

Must be proficient in all Microsoft office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

This position is full time work at home. You must have a room with a locked door you can designate as a home office.

Must have a minimum internet speed for optimal performance is 10mb down and 1mb up. (No satellite internet is allowed).

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Experience with CGX and/or Rosalind
