Description
SeniorBridge is seeking a Compliance Professional to help ensure delivery of the highest quality care by meeting compliance with company and governmental requirements.
The Compliance Professional develops and implements compliance policies and procedures and coordinates implementation and compliance with corrective action plans, as needed.
Responsibilities
The Compliance Professional will work closely with the Associate Director of Branch Administration and the Supervisor of Care Management to coordinate all external and internal compliance audits for multiple Branches. Responsibilities include the following:
Coordinate work activities with outside entities and monitor progress towards compliance goals.
Visit various company offices to audit application files and personnel to assure company and NYSDOH guidelines are met.
Maintain relationships with government agencies. Coordinates site visits for regulators.
Manage CHRC and Homecare Registry on NYSDOH Health Commerce System
Personnel chart audit/Clinical chart audit utilizing an audit tool.
Support the compliance portion of the recruiting process for all HHA, LPN's and RN's
Works with Recruiters and Branch Management to oversee and assist Human Resources applications and physicals process.
Schedule appointments and manage medical results of new hire and associate physicals and drug test
Outreach to HHA's, LPN's, RN's and providers to maintain compliance.
Ensure compliance with Mandatories such as vaccinations, in-services and ethics
Generate and act on reports for compliance follow up and recruitment application process.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Less than 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance
Knowledge of state specific home care regulations
Knowledge of HHA Annual requirements to maintain certificates
Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft office products including Word and Excel
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of NYSDOH LHCSA (Licensed Home Care Services Agency) regulations
Analytical experience
Experience running queries and ad hoc reports in Access and/or SQL
