We have an opportunity to join the Alliance as a Senior Program Development Analyst in the Strategic Development Department.

There is one position that can be filled in any of our three offices: Merced, Salinas, Scotts Valley.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

You will provide project management coordination and support for low to medium complexity programs,

projects, and initiatives through all aspects of the project lifecycle; Conduct research and analysis related to relevant business and health care programs to support strategic business development opportunities and prepares related written materials.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Strategic Development conducts research and analysis to support decision making and initial planning for strategic initiatives. The department also leads initial planning and development of new strategic programs/pilots from initial concept through recommendation or implementation. In some cases, Strategic Development oversees pilots/projects for their duration and coordinates program evaluations to inform leadership and Board recommendations. The team also serves as a programmatic liaison with external community partners and represents the Alliance in meetings with community stakeholders. The department also facilitates the Program Design Committee which is chartered to review the initial design of programs and concepts to seek input and/or approval from internal stakeholders.

Knowledge of:

Research, analysis and reporting methods

Principles and practices of project management

Windows based PC systems and Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

Ability to:

Develop and organize project work plans and maintain accurate records

Conduct research, gather and interpret information and data, identify issues of concern,

and make logical recommendations for action

Make presentations, facilitate meetings and represent the Alliance in a professional

manner

Respond effectively to changing priorities

Synthesize and interpret a wide range of information

Foster teamwork and interact diplomatically with a wide variety of people

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or a

related field and five years (or a Master’s degree and three years) of program administration

experience which included some project management responsibilities or an equivalent

combination of education and experience may be qualifying

OTHER DETAILS

While this position is connected to one of our Alliance offices, we are in a fully telecommute work environment right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The interview and on-boarding process for this position will be completed remotely

Onsite presence will most likely be on a part-time basis, but is dependent on business needs

COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement:

This position requires staff to be fully vaccinated upon their start date as a condition of employment. Proof of vaccination must be submitted at time of hire. Fully vaccinated is defined as receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series (ex: Pfizer & Moderna vaccines) OR receipt of a single-dose vaccine (ex: Johnson & Johnson); AND receipt of the booster (if eligible); AND a 2-week period having passed since the administration of the last vaccine dose.
