Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.We are recruiting for a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our clinical team.  This position will be at several of our many locations throughout the Capital District where we strive to offer an integrated health care practice.  We are known for our quality of care for individuals with disabilities, which is at the heart of our mission.  The occupational therapist position will include a hybrid delivery service of both telehealth and in-person sessions.  As an occupational therapist at the Center for Disability Services, you will collaborate with physicians, family and/or treatment teams to evaluate functional strengths and needs in order to establish individualized, meaningful and appropriate therapy for the individuals we support. Requirements: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programNYS State Licensure, active and in good standingExperience is helpful, but we will consider new graduates for this position, experience with telehealth is preferred but will train the right applicant.  Ability to work with a team to collaborate and care for the whole personKnowledge of and ability to effectively use an electronic medical record (EMR)Knowledge of and ability to effectively deliver services via telehealth platformOrganized with attention to detailAbility to work well with an interdisciplinary team Reliable transportation as the position may require minimal travel At The Center for Disability Services, we don’t just accept difference – we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support.  We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any protected class of job applicant or employee in our employment practices.
