Position Summary:

Exciting opportunity

to become a member of our dynamic behavioral health intake and emergency services team. As a member of this team, you will provide bio-psychosocial assessments at our outpatient community behavioral health center in Woonsocket, and have the opportunity to complete crisis evaluations as well.

Duties would include meeting face to face with new clients seeking services, making in referrals to center programs and assisting emergency services clinicians with crisis phone screenings and assessments when needed.

Specialized training

to become qualified as a mental health professional (QMHP) in the state of Rhode Island will be offered to MA level applicants upon hire and at no cost to the employee. This is a fulltime position with flexibly in work days and hours.

Four-day work week options are available

No evenings or weekends

Experience in the use of DSM 5 as well as knowledge of ASAM criteria is a must.

Education and Training Required: 

Master's Degree in a human services related field required LMHC, LCSW,

LICSW, or PC preferred. BA, LCDP

candidates will be considered based on experience.

-Employee will assume full responsibility for maintaining any and all forms of licensure, certification, and credentialing documentation as required in their job description or sited on any Action form as a qualification for hiring, job promotion, or monetary increase.  Subsequently, the employee will adhere to the credentialing requirements of all insurance/funding sources for which they qualify and provide Human Resources and/or the Credentialing Specialist with the initial required documentations (licenses, liability insurance policies, DEA numbers etc. and all renewals of these documents thereafter .
